Morrisons Academy Vs Marr College

Marr College travelled to Morrison's Academy in Crieff anticipating a very competitive fixture based on previous fixtures and Morrison's performance in the Barbarian league this season.

Coaches,players and supporters were welcomed by some fantastic playing conditions from the Morrison's coaching team. The game began with indecision and several handling errors by both teams, this disrupted the flow and anticipation of a competitive game. This continued for most of the first half but some excellent line breaks from the Morrison's number (8) eventually struck the first points of the match. This was followed by a similar try and Marr were struggling to manage the ruthless approach Morrison's adopted with the (8) being at heart of considered play.

The second half took a brief twist with two trys by Marr to level the score only to be undone by the influential number (8) demanding more of himself and his team mates. Morrison'S broke loose to extend their lead with two converted trys and the remainder of the game was played out with both teams engaged in several attempts to derive structure in their play given excellent conditions.

Morrison's were worthy winners of the match capitalising on Marr's defensive absence and executing their game plan ruthlessly when the ball stuck to hand.

Marr College Coaches, players and supporters enjoyed the visit to Morrison's and look forward to a return fixture in the league next season.
