School S1 vs Lomond

We not only welcomed Lomond to the College Playing Fields but also Craig Dunlop, a member of the Marr College Scottish Schools Cup winning side from 1991, returned as he is a PE teacher at Lomond !

After an initial fright when Lomond drove to within 5 metres of our line the team dug in and played well to score 8 tries before Lomond got one at the end and the game finished 27-4 to Marr. The tries came from Scott Toner (3), Logan (2), Harry, Calum Morton and Scott Rodger. Thomas, Scott Toner and Scott Stirton all landed a conversion each. It was a much improved performance on the previous weekend especially in the forwards with a much more solid scrum and good lineout. We all need to keep our tackles low though - they can't run if you have their legs !
