Marr vs Greenock Match Report

Marr S1 Midi team put on a good display in their first outing of the new season and under the new S1 rules. The final score was 52-0 to Marr (we get 3 points for a try and 1 point for a conversion now) with 14 tries (Scott T x4, Scott G x3, Cameron P x2, and Calvin, Harry, Logan, Sam and Thomas 1 apiece) and 10 conversions (Scott G, Cameron P and Calum all landing kicks).

There were plenty of positives with good support work and passing from most but there are still many things to work on especially around our rucking technique and remembering to tackle low as the matches will get harder. All in all though the boys should be very pleased with their first performance.
