Scott Bickerstaff called up to Glasgow Warriors A squad

Scott Bickerstaff's performances for Marr Rugby earned him a call up into the Glasgow Warriors A squad for their derby match against Edinburgh A played at Broadwood on 18 November 2015.

Warriors coaching team had taken the opportunity to call in Scott and three other club players to give them a run out preparing with the squad and a place on the replacements bench.

Scott came on at half-time played for the whole of the second half. The game-plan played in cold and blustery conditions weren't ideal for those watching to get to see his power and pace but it was great to see him perfectly make his first tackle and quickly get back into the game.

A good run out - well deserved for his work at Marr and hopefully this won't be the only time we see him in Warriors colours.

Scott's company for the day is listed below...

Glasgow Warriors: 15. Nyle Godsmark (Melrose), 14. Junior Bulumakau, 13. Nick Grigg 12. Sam Johnson 11. Rory Hughes 10. Duncan Weir 9. Ali Price 1. Alex Allan 2. James Malcolm 3. Mike Cusack 4. Greg Peterson 5. James Eddie 6. Tyrone Holmes 7. Chris Fusaro (Captain) 8. Bruce Flockhart.

Subs: Jerry Yanuyanutawa, Javan Sebastian, Cameron Fenton, Will Bordill, Matt Smith, Andy Redmayne (Glasgow Hawks), Patrick Nicol (Stirling County), Scott Bickerstaff (Marr), Gregor Hunter, Archie Russell (BT Sport Scottish Rugby Academy Stage 2 player).
