Arrive changed and ready to play as there will be no changing facilities available on site.
There will be no food or drinks provided,
the cafe across the car park from the stadium will be open.

This tournament will be conducted in a round robin format, similar to the SPEN Championship. Matches will be played on half a pitch with teams consisting of 8 players. While there is no restriction on squad size, I would recommend that teams with a squad size of roughly 16 players consider entering 2 teams to ensure ample game time for all of their squad members throughout.
To maximise ball-in-play time, the tournament will see the tap and pass being used in lieu of scums and lineouts. Additionally, "cavalry charges" where the players take a fairly lengthy run-up before taking the ball into a static defence - are not permitted. Referees will intervene on the day if they see this.
Beyond these slight modifications, we will adhere to the full rugby rules applicable at U13 and U14 age group in terms of tackle height, ruck formation and the use of kicks.
The tournament will start at 13:25 allowing a 25-minute warm up period.
