Marr S2 put in another solid defensive performance today with good line speed denying Carrick any space to go go forward. Another impressive day from our back row who were rampant in both defence and attack. In attack we played 15 man rugby with some superb handling and support play making the difference between the team's. Try of the day was picked up by flanker Murrey Blair between the posts in our own in goal area with the ball quickly moved through the hands to full back Sean Nicholl who ran the full length of the pitch to score in the corner. Our work rate and determined tackling saw us beat off a late surge from Carrick who were intent on a late consolation try.
