Marr entered their final group game with a chance to get into the West Youth Cup Final. It was a very tight start to the match with no scores until the 20min mark when GHA made the break through with a converted try. GHA then scored two more quick converted tries to have a 0-21 lead. Fraser Inglis scored a try and converted himself for Marr just before half time to make the score 7-21.

In the second half GHA scored again and converted to take a 21 point lead. Marr then started to find some holes in the GHA defence and put real pressure on their line scoring two tries by Sam Braddock and both converted by Fraser Inglis. Then another try by Fraser Inglis which he converted. This made the score 28-28. Marr took the lead with Ben McBlain scoring in the corner but the conversion was missed. Marr were on the GHA line again but the GHA winger intercepted and scored a converted try running the length of the pitch. This meant that GHA went back into the lead making the score 33 - 35. This did not stop Marr and Fraser Inglis scored in the last minute of the game and converted to win the match 40-35.
