MARR'S BIGGEST DAY!

Marr 1st XV versus Currie Chieftains, Tennent’s Premier Division FINAL. Away K.O. 3pm
This Saturday Marr can make history by beating their fierce rivals Currie Chieftains.
At stake is the Tennent’s Premier Division title. Stated simply, ‘The right to say you are the best club side in Scotland!’
Marr Rugby over the last ten years have played many important one-off matches and won nearly all of them, but nothing comes close in importance as this one.
As you will know when these matches arise, Marr have a history of rising to the occasion and securing the victory, when it really matters.
Craig Redpath has the luxury of selecting the exact same team and squad as last week, after our fine performance against a very strong Hawick team.
Jamie Shedden, Marr’s powerful winger did fail a fitness test and is deeply disappointed to miss out.
The purple and gold legions will be there ‘en masse’ and will provide a vociferous support for their team. Over 500 Marr supporters are expected to travel to this historic rugby event.
The scene is set, and the weather is set to fair, for a fast action free flowing match that both teams will be eager to show off why they are the best two teams in Scotland.
