South Ayrshire Foodbank

Marr Rugby supporting the local community this Christmas

South Ayrshire Foodbank helps struggling families to put food on the table. Over the past year our local Foodbank has contributed to providing 40,000KG of food parcels across South Ayrshire, supporting 6400 people. There are several hubs across South Ayrshire with a hub situated in the Old Parish Church here in Troon.

Every year Marr Rugby members support the Foodbank's work by providing donations that can be used to help those in need. Marr Minis parent and coach Kevin Pattie and his family and friends, including Marr member Andy Fell are active supporting the Foodbank making sure this vital service is available in the local community. Last year Marr Rugby collected almost350KG of food donations.

This year we are holding our annual collection on Saturday 12 December 2020.
A collection point will be set up at the clubhouse and will operate from 0930-1630 and people can pop up whenever it suits.

Alternatively, on Friday 11 December you can drop off directly with Kevin at his home address 12 Dinmurchie Road Troon. KA10 7JU.
