Recently Marr Rugby hosted a very successful Long Lunch at Troon Town Hall which resulted in a £3,000 donation being made to the My Name'5 Doddie Foundation. In addition a further £500 donation was made to Ali Walker (former player) who is aiming to run the North Coast 500 in 7 days in aid of the same charity. A great day was had by all as we were entertained by our guest speakers, former Scotland rugby captains, John Barclay and Kelly Brown.

The success of the event would not have been possible without all the help and support from our army of volunteers comprising players, sponsors, supporters and backroom staff. All in all a great example of a club at the heart of the local community pulling together to help others.
