Marr Rugby: Membership 2021/2022 – Update (August 2021)

For information Paul Gillespie has taken over from Jim Caldwell as the club’s Membership Secretary. Jim has looked after membership matters for many years and the club is very grateful for his efforts in this role. He will continue as club Treasurer as well as the many other things he cover to help the running of the club.

Following a review, Marr Rugby will now use PITCHERO to help administer membership. This will more easily and effectively allow members to access, check and update their information as well as providing the facility to pay memberships online (in full or in instalments). It will also allow us to send all members updates on what's happening or other club news.

The club has been using PITCHERO for several years to host our website. Many of our members are familiar with the site and have already registered with Marr Rugby on PITCHERO’s platform. Also, most teams now use the team manager application to help them with administration and information for their playing group. It allows information about training and playing to be shared within the playing groups and includes parents and carers of children involved in our Minis and Youth rugby squads.

We have prepared some PowerPoint presentations as a step by step guide for new members and one for existing members renewing for season 2021/2022.

Renewing members are asked to complete renewal before Friday 27 August 2021.

IMPORTANT - If you have previously registered you are likely to be asked to update some details. It is important that this information is provided, especially if you are a player, coach or parent of a Minis or Youth player.

As a reminder we have the following categories:

• Non Playing Adult [General Supporter]
• Player (Adult) and/or Coach
• Family Membership (Two adults plus children under 18 years of age)
• Youth (Midis)/Minis and Mites (Boys and Girls)

Note - membership fees remain unchanged for this season.
