South Ayrshire Council in partnership with Scottish Rugby were offering SAC Affiliated Clubs with the opportunity to attend specifically targeted Coach Education Courses during February.

7 of our current Marr College 1st XV went through Scottish Rugby's Coaching Essentials course. They gained a huge amount of knowledge and content and it is a great first step on their coaching journey. They will be assisting the Marr College Development Team with the delivery of an Inter House School 7s Tournament as part of Scottish Rugby's Schools Week as well as being part of the Coaching team at our very successful Mini Summer Camp.

5 Marr Rugby coaches completed the 2 day Scottish Rugby Aspiring Coaching course. Th course aims to equip coaches with practical coaching skills and tools to enhance their coaching and the player experience.

Well done to Paul Duncan, Alex Moncrieff, Kevin Pattie, Gregor Beckwith and Gordon Reid.

Excellent stuff from all our newly qualified coaches and this is sure to have a positive impact on all of their squads and players.
