Marr 300

Marr 300 is a small lottery which helps fund the Club’s development programme for youth rugby at the Club and at Marr College.

Membership of the Marr 300 Club is made by a payment of £5.00 per month (or multiples thereof) to the Club bank account and is now open not only to Marr Club members but non-members too.

Each month a draw takes place. Half of the monthly proceeds are distributed as prize money to the winning member with the remaining 50% being used to help with Development Officer costs. This means you could potentially win up to £750 each month whilst supporting our Youth Programme.

Marr has a strong and ever growing Mini Rugby section providing Rugby for boys and girls from 3 years of age up to Primary 7. We support Rugby at Marr College and have great success with the School winning their Conference in the last two years in a row and the under 18 team reaching the semi-final of the Scottish Schools’ Cup in the 2019/2020 season.

The youth section is vital to the sustained future of the Club. We work hard to develop rugby and life skills, successfully encouraging and transitioning youth players in to our senior section. The majority of Club players today have progressed through our youth programmes.

Now open to members and non-members alike, we are seeking your support to ensure we can continue to encourage our youth in to sport to enjoy all the health benefits and life skills to be gained. Your support will enable Marr to continue to develop rugby at the School and the Club - especially important at this time of uncertainty when detailed planning will be required to allow rugby to re-start in a controlled and careful manner after the pandemic has eased.

Signing up to the ‘Marr 300 Club’ is straightforward. Please complete the attached Banker’s order form and return a copy to one of the email addresses shown below. This will enable us to identify new members. At the same please set-up a monthly electronic payment from your bank account or send a copy of the attached Banker’s order form to your bank.

You will enter the prize draw at the end of the month when your first payment is made.

Thanks for your support in what was heading to be our most successful year ever at all levels until the cessation of rugby due to the pandemic. However the future remains bright and with your help we can make it even brighter!
