Work in the changing rooms’ corridor to take down the stairs to the former viewing gallery and create the opening for the new rear door has been completed and access to the gym restored.

As previously indicated the work required to introduce the new roof will be extensive. Part of this means the bar will be out of operation for at least four weeks. We considered the option of trying to set up and run some sort of temporary facility but the logistics and practicalities involved meant that it made more sense to temporarily close for a short period. We will keep you posted on timescales but meantime if you wish you can make use of refreshment facilities available at any of the following club supporters

South Beach Hotel
McKays Bar
Harbour Bar

Materials to start off the new brickwork were delivered on Friday of last week and building work starts on Monday 6 July.
