Marr Rugby senior results 2 December 2017: Mixed fortunes – Capital lesson for 1s while 2s make their mark on the City of Discovery and winter beats the 3s

BT Premiership: Heriot’s FC 33 - Marr Rugby 10
BT National Reserve League 2 – Dundee High Rugby 12 - Marr Rugby 43
BT West Reserve League 2: Cummnock RFC 2s v Marr Rugby 3s (postponed pitch unplayable)

The long awaited return to league rugby action resulted in mixed feeling for Marr Rugby players, coaches and supporters with joy, satisfaction, frustration and disappointment in relatively equal measures.

Whilst the 1s were unable to convert possession and territory into points at Goldenacre; the 2s were in titanic form at Mayfield while the 3s tour of the Cumnock area failed to find a pitch that was sufficiently safe and suitable to play on.
