Marr Rugby and the R&A: The Open Championship 2016

During the week of the 145th Open Championship, Marr Rugby’s facilities at Fullarton will become the venue of the R&A’s Open Camping Village.

This is an initiative aimed to helping to support younger golf fans aged 25 and under to access and enjoy the Open.

Marr Rugby’s mission is to providing access to high quality rugby. This initiative from the R&A is one that parallels our Mission and the club is delighted to support. We have entered into a partnership agreement with a company acting on behalf of the R&A to help facilitate the Open Camping Village.

The future remains bright…and purple and gold albeit during a week in July the focus will be on a smaller and less oval shaped ball!
