MARR face JED in top of table clash.

Marr 1st XV will do battle with their league rivals Jed at Fullarton this Saturday. A match that may well end up being crucial to see what team are crowned champions of TENNENTS National Division 1.

Craig Redpath has made a few changes for this vital encounter. Ross Miller makes a welcome return to his usual position at number 8 . Marr’s experienced hooker Stephen Adair also makes an appearnace to help lead the Marr pack. Josh Evans drops out due to illness and Ollie Rossi is also unavailable due to working in the Bahamas for the next fortnight.. tough life!

In the backs Colin Sturgeon returns after a short illness. However Scott Bickerstaff is unavailable for the next fortnight as he is playing in the Dubai 7’s & then onto the Barbados 7's for the Projecx Waterboys. Young prospect, Jack Scott fills in his position, however Jack has impressed the Marr faithful, with some excellent performances this season already.

Marr’s bench also looks powerful, with the long awaited return of big Dan Law, who will surely come on to make his presence felt. Fraser Grant also takes his place on the bench after being absent last week. Graeme Dick, Curran McMillan & Gregor Paxton will also provide some Killie impact!

Although this is not technically a league decider, it will provide the victor with the confidence to strive to achieve the number spot.

Next week will also be tough, as we face yet another top of the table clash, this time with Musselburgh who are pushing both Marr and Jed all the way.

So we call all Marr supporters to get up to Fullarton and cheer on the purple and gold!
